Eagle Point Camping Area at Emerald Bay
Continue on Emerald Bay Road (6.6 miles from the intersection called the “Y.”) Just past a sharp hairpin turn, turn Right into the entrance of the Emerald Bay State Park/Eagle Point Camp Ground. Enter at the gate, pay the day fee, and proceed down through the camp area to a parking area located partway down to the Lake. Park there and walk back up the road a short distance past the rest room to a well designed wheelchair accessible trail heading out to the lake. This is a trail out to spectacular 360’ views of surrounding mountains, Lake Tahoe, and Emerald Bay.
